On the occasion of the commemoration of the Tutsi genocide, Rights & Democracy, in collaboration with the Coalition for Women’s Human Rights in Conflict Situations and Page-Rwanda is pleased to present a documentary by Raphaël Glucksmann, David Hazan and Pierre Mezerette.
This exceptional documentary, presented for the first time in North America in which investigation, historical context and interviews with key-actors of this tragedy is intertwined with heartrending testimonies of survivors.

The presentation of the documentary will be followed by a discussion.

Special Guest: Françoise Nduwimana, who has recently returned from Rwanda , and who is a member of the Coalition for Women’s Human Rights in Conflict Situations.
Please note that the documentary is in French, however, the discussion will be in both French and in English.

The funds raised during this evening will be donated in their entirety to Sevota and Abasa, two organizations devoted to assisting survivors of the genocide, led by Godeliève Mukasarsi, Rights & Democracy’s 2004 John Humphrey Freedom Award laureate, and Rose Burizihiza.
